Is it wrong that whenever I look at my recent purchase, the chrous to Paolo Nutini’s song, New Shoes occupies precious space in my head for at least 10 minutes? Does this not happen to everyone or is it just me?

Just got these on sale and haven’t even worn them out yet, but when I put them on and strut around the house, I hum that song because you know what: “Hey, I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything’s right!” Ah, the power of footwear.
