Fugahum’s collection is named Doppelganger (which is a word I have always liked; try saying that 5x fast) and they have extended the theme of the double into the styling and photography of the clothing.

It sort of reminds me of the Bram Stoker’s Dracula movie with Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldham where Dracula’s shadow is always doing some sort of menacing movement. Yes, it’s eerie but it completely ties into the theme of this collection.

Another item that I really like are capes and this royal blue is perfect for those chilly days that make up the Fall and the beginning of Spring.

I have a cape that is a thrift find but it is brown and not as nice as this one. Will keep my eyes open for something similar.

For the launch of Prada’s fragance, Miuccia wanted to portray the different facets of being a woman. So the directors decided to use Thunder Perfect Mind, a poem found among the gnostic manuscripts which references the paradoxical nature of the feminine psyche.
