Happy Valentine’s Day, lovelies! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Lately, I have been drawn to these little ankle socks with shoes. I’m particularly loving the idea of the gold shoe with some type of brightly-hued sock.

For example this image from the wonderful Bona Drag website:

How cute is Zooey Deschanel? Here is an interview from the now defunct Jane Magazine (R.I.P) with their June/July cover girl. I couldn’t help but post it.

She’s seems like so much fun to hang out with!

This week’s style muse is another international girl, Miri whose blog (while I don’t understand it) seems to be very entertaining. She is absolutely fearless with her style and having stumbled upon it last year, I check back every so often to see what interesting outfits she creates.

Here are just a few images.

I loved, luved, looovveedd Wunderkind’s Autumn/Winter 07 collection. Upon seeing the Spring/Summer 08 collection, I realized that I just about loved this one too!

This is how to successfully layer without looking like I put on everything in my closet. I will definitely be attempting to rock the florals with colorful, ankle socks and sandals.

Good thing, that I have been collecting some thrift-store floral dresses. Originally, I was tempted to rock them 90′s style with sturdy combat boots and a cute leather jacket but I think I will also be flowy and flirty. Or I might just combine the whole damn thing and come up with a look all my own. Whatever the outcome, it will be fun to do some ‘xperimenting!

Will keep all posted in a future Wardrobe Chronicle.

What do you think? What are you excited about wearing this spring?

Floral prints were all over the Spring/Summer 2008 runways. As to be expected, they are popping up everywhere. I even thrifted some lovely dresses dripping with florals. However, nothing that I have seen in real life compares to this week’s style muse.

This dress is a work of art, as if an artist took a brush and oils to it and created this right before she went out. There’s even tulle! It’s perfection.

If I had this dress, I would wear it everywhere. Literally.

Need milk? Off to the supermarket.

Important meeting? Forget the power suit.

Wait, after-work drinks? Meet you there.

All in this purdy, purdy dress.

I am slightly envious of you lovely Swedish Facehunter girl but all is forgiven. You completely deserve to look that happy and carefree.

Do you even think it is possible to thrift something like this?

International style blogs are great because you get to see how people all around the globe rock their own style. On the other hand, if you do not understand the language you may not be able to read the posts. This is how it has been for months with me and the style muse this week Clara of Underbaraclara. At least, there are plenty of pictures of great outfits for one to be inspired by. This girl is a chameleon, her hair has changed so many times and she has a great aesthetic with her clothes and how she presents herself.

I don’t know what it is with me and black and white stripes but this picture is great.

The wonderful thing about these street style sites is that you get to see how other people interpret fashion and how some trends become global while others may be regional. This week’s style muse is this anonymous guy from Yvan’s Face Hunter. Usually the one leg roll reminds me too much of late ’90′s style but he gets a pass because I know what he’s going for and aside from that,

He is co-ordinated! The detailing on the coat is exquisite, I absolutely love the buckled closures, the waistcoat, the difference in pattern in the pants and the coat. It’s like a modern-day Newsies look with his spectators, except I don’t get the vibe that he will break into a song and dance.
